Les Make It Happen was inspired by my father, Les, who always encouraged me to take action and "make it happen" no matter the circumstances.

My father spent years in the military helping people and understood that a job can provide more than a paycheck, it can create stability, confidence, independence, and opportunities for growth. Watching him serve others taught me the importance of helping people move forward and reach their full potential.

After his passing, I knew I wanted to carry his legacy forward in a meaningful way. I wanted to create something that would help people overcome obstacles, build confidence, and move closer to the future they envisioned for themselves.

Years later, that mission became even more personal.

After graduating from college, my son landed a corporate position that many would consider a major accomplishment. He had earned his degree, secured the job, and was excited about beginning his career. However, once he entered the workplace, I quickly realized that no one had prepared him for what came next.

​

He wasn't taught how to navigate workplace culture, communicate professionally, understand company expectations, build relationships with coworkers, or handle challenges that arise in a corporate environment. Like many young professionals, he was expected to figure it out on his own.

Watching him struggle opened my eyes to a gap that exists for many job seekers and new employees.

Getting hired is only the beginning.

Many people need guidance on creating a strong resume, preparing for interviews, presenting themselves professionally, understanding onboarding paperwork, reviewing employee handbooks, adapting to workplace culture, handling conflict appropriately, and developing the confidence needed to succeed long-term.

That's why I created Les Make It Happen.

My goal is to help people not only get the job, but thrive once they get there. Through career coaching, resume development, interview preparation, workplace guidance, accountability coaching, and career resources, I help individuals navigate every stage of their professional journey with confidence.
